My full name is Mohammed Samhar AlAbiad. I studied for my BA (English) at Al Baath University, then did a diploma in Literary Studies, and another in Translation; before going to England where I studied for my MA and PhD (York University). My PhD major is Syntax (Linguistics). I am happy to be amongst you, and till we meet next term, hope you all have a great holiday, and that you all pass your exams with flying colors.
